5 Must Have Summer Staples

A cute pair of denim shorts is one of the easiest pieces to buy this summer. They are great to wear to the beach, brunch, a night out or just to run errands in. I personally have been loving our high waisted shorts that can be worn with oversized graphic tees or a crop top. Whether you’re into light or dark wash denim, both styles can come in handy for any last minute plans.
Another easy staple to have are sandals, but our sandals are just a tad bit different. We recently got these cute leather and jelly sandals. They come in two styles -- clear and leopard print -- that are super easy to style. The clear sandals can be worn with any sort of print, color or style of clothing. I personally style jelly sandals with jeans or midi dresses. For my leopard loving ladies, our printed sandals go great with neutral colored clothing. For example, our black romper with these sandals adds a little edge to your outfit.
In a particular way I believe rompers are the ultimate “lazy girl” staple. There is no shame in that, because I have been buying rompers since high school. They literally save you a headache and they’re so comfortable. Our sage green romper is a cult classic -- the color is ideal for all skin types -- plus it's easy to dress up or down. I would personally style it two different ways; first with white sneakers to go to the farmers market or wedges for a semi-formal night out. What is one way you style your romper?
Who doesn’t love a flowy sundress for a hot summer day? We have different styles to pick for a graduation, night out, date or a fun picnic. Sundresses can be styled with sandals, wedges, sneakers or espadrilles. We have a variety of casual, dressy and chic styles of sundresses. Below Sarah styled our adorable red high neck shift dress, with our clear jelly sandals. I absolutely love this dress because the color is perfect for everyone. If you want to dress it up a bit more, add some black heels or booties, add a black clutch for that extra touch.
A good tank can take you a long way, wearing it over denim shorts or jeans, and you can tuck it in a midi skirt. The lightweight feature of a tank is great for these hot summer days -- especially in the Midwest -- you never know when it’ll be scorching hot out. Grab a denim jacket or light cardigan and place it over, for those gloomy rainy days. Grecia styled our light blue v-neck tank with some casual denim shorts. What ways would you style this piece?
