5 Must Have's for Staying Cool All Summer Long

I think summer is the best season--sorry fall lovers--but I find the best inspiration for my closet in the summer. Having a go to dress, romper, bikini, or sandals makes dressing up so much fun. Although we might be experiencing a different summer than before, who says you can't have fun and quarantine? The Ensemble ladies picked out our favorite pieces that are just what we all need to feel fun, beautiful, and stay cool all summer long. Comment your favorites! 

The Easy Maxi 

 Let's start easy, but comfortable. Here at Ensemble we are all about feeling feminine, beautiful, and comfortable. I think the easiest clothing piece that gets us out the door can be a maxi dress. All you have to do is find the one that is right for you and pair it with some accessories. I am loving transitioning pastels into summer, because lighter colors really contrasts with our tan skin. Our 'Lilac Front Tie' dress is the one to grab. The soft polyester material feels like butter on your skin, and although it does not have a pattern, the bow hits right below the chest area. 

The Statement Romper 

Now let's add some pattern to make things interesting. I am a huge fan of rompers, they can be so flattering on and you can dress them up or down. Our 'Black Ruffle' romper is the perfect staple piece to wear out. Whether you add some leather heels, black sandals, or your favorite Kids--this romper really can be worn more than once. We love the way it hugs just right around the waist, you can tie a cute bow with the drawstrings, and the notched collar adds a sophisticated feel to the entire piece. We would recommend wearing either some golden bracelets or earrings, since it already has a lot of commotion going on. 

The Flirty Wrap Dress

Wrap dresses are the most versatile pieces in the fashion world. You can pair and wear them with almost everything and anything. They can be accommodated to the season and occasion. My favorite way to style one, would be by adding a denim jacket and some cute slide sandals. Another popular way to style them is by adding a statement belt or some fun sneakers. For this season, we picked out our 'Berry Floral' faux dress. The material is so lightweight, keeps you feeling flirty yet fresh, and the florals add the perfect pattern. I would add some white earrings, a golden bar necklace, and wear it out with some espadrilles. Take it from day to night, business meeting to happy hour with your girls. 

 The Street-style Short Dress

For the ultimate blend to keep you comfortable and cool--a cotton button down dress. Our 'Blue Striped' dress is the perfect for the summer season. It isn't too tight, hugs just around your curves, adjustable buttons, and the blue stripes are fun to add neutral colored jewelry.  It is so easy to style, pair, and it is practical. This dress is naturally breathable, so you don't have to worry about being sweaty under the sun. 

The Trendy Tank



Feeling boho? Our inspiration comes from the Coachella queen, Vanessa Hudgens, she kills it with her lace, crochet tanks and dresses. The fun thing about crochet is that you can have fun with how you pair it. Our 'Vinci Tank' is absolutely the staple piece this summer. I love wearing one with denim shorts, a flowy midi skirt, or some distressed jeans. If you are worried about what to wear under, I would recommend a nude strapless bra with a matching white tank top underneath. You can style it up by adding a floral kimono or leopard print cardigan. Whatever your style may be, we thank Vanessa for inspiring us to feel like we are at Coachella.
