Welcome to en·sem·ble + 5th Anniversary Recap

Welcome to en·sem·ble!

I'm Kassie Murphy, owner of en·sem·ble. I am a 30-something year old, wife and mama to two sweet girls. I opened en·sem·ble in Downtown Overland Park on May 12, 2018. I was 8 months pregnant and with the help of my whole family pulled together something I had always dreamed about and took a leap of faith on! It is crazy to think about all we have been through these past five years.

I am so grateful for the experiences that have come up along the way - from laughing with customers turned friends to crying my eyes out on the days that are just hard. I wouldn't change a thing about this roller coaster of a ride known as small biz and I can't wait to see what's in store for the next five years!

Here at en·sem·ble we believe that a great outfit can be put together in minutes to have you looking and feeling your best! That is why we are dedicated to hand selecting every single piece that goes in our boutique to make sure the quality, style and fit is perfect for you. The en·sem·ble gals and I look forward to helping you find styles that make your confidence shine!

5th Birthday Party Recap:

Five years is a big milestone, so naturally we threw a big party to celebrate! All of our closest friends and family came in town to party with us. Kassie's family has always been extremely supportive of the boutique, and so it was only right that they celebrate 5 years with us!

Fun Fact: Kassie's mom, Carol, actually painted the floral mural on our back wall. It is one of our favorite parts of the boutique!

Want another fun fact? Kassie's husband, Brice, actually built out the whole interior of the store! The brass racks, the center table, the shelving, you name it, he built it. And he of course continues to keep all things maintenance in check just like all good boutique husbands do!

We celebrated with sips, snacks (snacks being a BEAUTIFUL charcuterie board Kassie's Aunt Theresa & Cousin Kevin put together), a macaron tower and cake from Kate Smith Soiree, popcorn from Popculture, a succulent potting station, and of course shopping!

The cake was sooo sooooo delicious 😊

The best part of the whole night were the sweet conversations, laughs, and memories. It felt like a big family reunion, and we couldn't be more grateful for the love everyone showed us! The past five years have flown by, and we can't wait to see what the next five years hold!
